The Elimination Tournament has begun! Based on the scoring during the Regular Season, teams have been seeded into an elimination bracket (see below). Teams will move forward only if they win their match. At the end, one team will win and decide where 60% of our buy-in funds will be donated. Individual players can make bracket predictions similar to NCAA March Madness. The player with the closest bracket prediction selects an organization which we will send 40% of the donations. There is a $5 buy in per person to create a bracket for the elimination round (creating a bracket is optional). Please send your $5 to Rahat Bathija through venmo (@baba19) using the description “Zoom Olympics bracket fee.”
In order to make your bracket prediction, download the fillable bracket form below and fill it. For example, if you think Maine Squeeze will defeat Gilchecivan, choose “Maine Squeeze” for that spot in the Quarterfinals. Please send all predictions to Will at wpcarbery at gmail dot com. At game time, log on to the Zoom (see email). Every Game Night will have the same format: 1) teams log in/announcements, 2) teams divide into Breakout Rooms and play the Game Board, and 3) teams return to the main room for an (optional) Happy Hour.
If your team has been eliminated, you can still play the Game Board! Log in at any of the scheduled times for Game Night for exhibition-style play. Come alone or with your team and we’ll set up a breakout room for you to play as well.
